Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday said BNP’s daydream of going to power banking on cooperation of their foreign friends will not come true.
“BNP is dreaming that foreigners or court will bring them in state power. But their such daydream will break like a house of cards,” he told a rally of female students at Dhaka University (DU) Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) auditorium marking the 87th birth anniversary of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, reports BSS.
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL)’s DU unit organized the rally with its president Abid Al Hasan in the chair.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Associate Professor and martyred intellectual Shaheed Dr Abdul Alim Choudhury’s daughter Dr Nuzhat Chowdhury, BCL President Saifur Rahman Sohag and General Secretary SM Jakir Hossain, among others, addressed the function.
Quader said BNP is now out to hatch conspiracy as the party came out unsuccessful in waging movement.
“We know, BNP with whose assistance is hatching conspiracy.
We will reply on time,” he added.
The minister said BNP is now looking for secrete way to go to in state power as the party has no possibility to win in the next general election.
